Tanizaki Karin (谷崎カリン), is a vocal synth character created by Tsuina, the Ogre Hunter Project. She first released on MYCOEIROINK on May 15, 2023.[1]
Her voice is provided by Japanese Voice Actress, Kayamoto Suzuka (茅本涼花), also known professionally as Kaya Suzu (かやすず).
Concept[]
Tanizaki Karin is a villain in the lore of Tsuina-chan's story. She is one of the three executives of the Komentou (狐面党), an evil organization that aims to revive the nine-tailed kitsune. She handles the scientific department of the Komentou. She is also the person inside Tanikoro-kun (タニコロくん), the pig mascot of Atsuki City, the city Tsuina-chan lives in.[2]

She is an introverted, shy, worrying tsukkomi-type person. She is the only one in the Komentou with common sense, so she is easily pushed around by the unrestrained Kukuri and the princess-like Koron, which causes her a lot of grief. However when it comes to her dubious inventions, her eyes change colors and her demeanor changes. She secretly respects Tsuina-chan's grandfather, a fellow inventor.
Tanizaki Karin is the name she took when she joined the Komentou. Her real family name is Takato and it's rumored that she is actually the estranged older sister of Takato Saki, Takato Sora (高遠空). It's rumored that the snail on her head is actually a yokai from the nine-tailed kitsune and that it has brainwashed her.
- Birthday: May 15, not really her real birthday but the day she joined the Komentou, thus the birth of "Tanizaki Karin".
Combat Style[]
Karin uses her inventions, Mecha robots, as her means of offense. She unleashes them on Tsuina-chan and her gang as she avoids the frontlines. She is also adept at scouting, ambushing and planting traps. She likes to plan things out beforehand, making sure everything is watertight, however she is weak in abrupt situations and adapting her plans in a crisis.

Occupation[]
When Karin is not in her lab, she can be found working as a character mascot for Atsuki city, Tanikoro-kun, a pig with a Japanese snail on its head. While out and about she uses her disguise to spy on Tsuina-chan and her group.
