Mizusawa Takuto (瑞澤タクト) is an upcoming Japanese vocal synthesizer character developed by VirVox Project. He is the fifth character to be announced from the VirVox Project, however is the sixth to make his official debut. He was initially released as a series of exVOICE samples in September 2023. He was later announced to be in development as an A.I. text-to-speech library for the VOICEVOX text-to-speech synthesizer in August 2024.[1][2]
His voice is provided by the Japanese voice actor and Virtual YouTuber, saka seiso, also simply known as Saka (さか).

VirVox project's goal is to increase the variety and number of masculine vocals in vocal synths. Takuto is the rival of Kurono Takehiro.

2021[]
Takuto was introduced as an unknown fifth character who was shown as a silhouette on VirVox Project's website on 2021.[5] Small parts of his design were teased in a height comparison illustration of the cast.[6]
2022[]
On April 22, 2022, VirVox project tweeted that Shiki Rowen's exVOICE files mentioned the names of the VirVox Project characters, including the unknown male, confirming it to be "Takuto".[7] He was also included in Shiki Taigen's exVOICE files as "Takuto-kun".[8] On November 7, stats for Takuto were added but his surname was still unknown.[9]
2023[]
On January 28, 2023, the first character of his surname, "瑞", was revealed. His personality was also updated, describing him as a cool and stoic young man who sees Takehiro as his rival. He is not good with women.[10] His full information and illustration were revealed on September 4, and he was released with exVOICE files.[11][12][13]
2024[]
On October 1, VirVox Project posted a press release announcement that all artwork, including those featuring Takuto and the other VirVox Project characters that have been illustrated by the former official illustrator, onidaruma, would be removed from the official website following a legal dispute and official separation between the artist and the project over the use of conceptual designs. VirVox Project noted that they plan to focus on designs with various concepts by a variety of illustrators hoped that fans would enjoy the new illustrations that would "bring a new world view to the series."[14] It was stated that as the illustrations used for VOICEVOX and A.I.VOICE were commissioned pieces, VirVox Project noted that users could continue to use the released artwork as normal and would continue to be allowed for use in derivative works, such as creating videos using derivative character images or illustrations.[15] A full explanation of the situation was released on October 12.[16]
