Merrow (めろう) is the first character created by the NEUTRINO Project Team for the NEUTRINO software. She is capable of singing in Japanese and was released December 24, 2020.
Concept[]
Merrow's design was heavily inspired by sea fairies, or mermaids, however is not one herself and is described as a "ordinary girl". Her design was also based off of the sea. She was designed to be calm with a sense of floating and transparency.[1]
Appearance[]
Merrow has pale skin with purple eyes and long dark purple hair. She also hase a mole under her right eye. wears a loose fitting blue dress that gets darker towards the bottom and is tied in the center with a hand-tied blue bow. Her sleeves are large, loose, transparent, and tied above her elbows. Under the tie there are various sized dots that are lighter and more transparent. The edge of the sleeves are outlined evenly with large and small dots in a orderly fashion. The inside of her dress is somewhat transparent white with white dots of a more (but not completely) solid color. She wears a pearl necklace with evenly spaced pearls that get smaller towards the back and larger in the front and a pink mermaid tail accessory in the very front. Her shoes are fancy but comfortable cream colored dress shoes with a strap at the top.
Voicebanks[]
Merrow is described on the NEUTRINO website as a voice with a soft and straightforward style of singing, with few quirks. She is noted to be good with harmony parts and acapella songs.[2] Her recommended tempo is 80-140 BPM and her ideal range is said to be from A3-E5.
When Merrow was first released, she was considered to be in alpha testing phase. Since then, there have been various adjustments to her configuration released in following months.
