Manbetsu Hanamaru (満別花丸) is a Japanese vocal synthesizer character based on the voice and design of the Virtual YouTuber Manten Hanamaru (満点花丸). She was released as an AI text-to-speech library for VOICEVOX in October 2023 and also received a singing voicebank for UTAU.[1][2]
Her voice is provided by the Virtual YouTuber Manten Hanamaru.
Concept[]
Manbetsu Hanamaru is a character based on the voice and design of the Virtual YouTuber Manten Hanamaru. She was noted to be a different character from the original Virtual YouTuber Manten Hanamaru. She is from the Hokkaido region of Japan, and her favorite food is Umeboshi.[3]
Etymology[]
The name "Manbetsu Hanamaru" (満別花丸) is taken from Memanbetsu (女満別町, Memanbetsu-chō), a town located in the Abashiri District, of Hokkaido, Japan where the Virtual YouTuber Manten Hanamaru is from.
Appearance[]
With her appearance being based on Manten Hanamaru, Hanamaru's design borrows elements from the Virtual YouTuber's design such as her pale skin, large, swirling red eyes, grey hair and the overall shape of her body, with notable differences such as her clothing.

A set of standing artwork materials were released for both of Hanamaru's VOICEVOX and UTAU libraries.[4] An official Twitter account was also created.[5]
