Makune Hachi (MAKU音ハチ) is a UTAU and GarageBand vocal created and voiced by Misha. She was retired upon the release of RUBY, who shares the same voice provider as Hachi. Her voicebank now can only be found on Ulteam(Utau Lost Media)
Concept[]
Etymology[]
In the beginning, her name was Macne Hachi. However, after a discussion with Damesuke from TWINDRILL and the UTAU and VOCALOID wikis, it was decided, in order to avoid copyright laws, that her name would be Makune Hachi. This is a pun on how she is a huge fan of the current MACloids. The name Makune (幕音) means "curtain sound" is is a pun on how she is a fan of the MACLOIDs. MAKU音 is how it is preferred to be written. The name Hachi comes from the Japanese word for eight, as she is considered the "eighth model".
Appearance[]
Hachi has blonde hair and gold eyes. Her earphones are gold and resemble the Mac mouse. She wears a shot top with poofy short shorts and boots that are all black with golden highlights. She is described as looking young for her age.
Personality[]
Hachi is sly, tricky and enjoys pulling pranks. She has the habit of being very blunt and doesn't stop to think about what she is saying. She loves to dress up in cute outfits, and generally just loves to have fun. She gets upset when she doesn't have her way. When she gets obsessed with something, she often can take it a bit overboard. Hachi looked up to the MACLOIDS so much that she desperately wanted to be one. She changed her looks and her name to seem like she was part of the family. The other MACLOIDS don't really mind it much.
