Maita (まいた) is a UTAU created by Shinyusha Co., Ltd. for the Windows100% "UTAU Perfect Master" magazine.

Her voice provider is Kadowaki Mai (門脇(かそわき) 舞以(まい)).

Concept[]

Etymology[]

The name "Maita" ((まい)()) comes from a nickname of Kadowaki Mai. Mai came up with it while trying to register a e-mail address and the name "Mai" was already taken.[citation needed]

Appearance[]

Maita has dirty blonde hair with bangs and and a ponytail on her right side tied up in a knot with a yellow ribbon. She has dark teal eyes. She wears light blue glasses and white and yellow headphones with a power icon on the sides in a darker yellow. She wears a white dress with a yellow skirt and frills. She wears a light blue jacket with a yellow collar and white trim over her dress. On her jacket collar she has 3 small white pins; one blank, one with a light blue eighth note note, and the last slightly larger with two connected sixteenth notes also in a light blue. Coming out of her dress are two white ribons each with similar patterns of notes on measures in a light blue. She wears yellow shoes with knotted ribbons on them with socks that fade up from blue to white with white spots in the middle and three blue stripes on the top; the middle being the lightest. She also wears yellow ribbon around her wrists tied up in a similar fashion to her hair tie.

Since Kadowaki Mai both wears glasses and often plays characters with glasses, it was decided that Maita would wear glasses aswell.

Trivia[]

  • Maita's voice actor Kadowaki Mai would later voice a VOICEROID2 character named Tsuina-chan in 2019. Since Tsuina's only capable of speaking, her official twitter suggested that Maita could be used as a singing voice for Tsuina.[1]
