Kuro Bousuku (黒昴宿), sometimes written as Kurobousuku, is a vocal synth character by ATSUYA. He first released on UTAU on September 23rd, 2014.
His voice is provided by ATSUYA, who also provided his voice for Kawauchi Junta and Kuro's younger brother Aka Subaru.
Concept[]
Etymology[]
His family name, Kuro (黒), refers to the color "black". Bousuku (昴宿) is the Japanese reading for Mǎo Xiù, which is one of the 28 mansions of the Chinese constellations. The English equivalent of the Mǎo Xiù is the Pleiades, which is a theme he shares with his younger brother Aka Subaru.
The English name for Mǎo Xiù is "Hairy Head". When put together with his family name, "Black Hairy Head" refers to his full black hair, as opposed to his brother's hair which has a red streak.
Appearance[]
Kuro is a rather fit young man in most depictions. his hair is short and black, with his eyes being a vibrant red.
His default outfit is of him wearing your average student attire; white dress shirt (with sleeves rolled up), black dress pants, with a black and red tie. His boots are black with red soles.
Personality[]
He often goes by his family name "Kuro" instead of his given name. Kuro is described as a reliable and strong older brother who is often worried about his younger brother Aka Subaru. A bit troublesome, but he can be serious when he wants to be yet also a bit childish.
Additionally, he's quite handsome and sports a good body, though his silly demeanor means people usually look past that. He wears a sleeveless body suit underneath his clothes, which defines he says his muscles more.
