Kizuna (キズナ), also known as Kizuna-chan (キズナちゃん) or Kizuna (#KZN) (キズナ(#K(キ)Z(ズ)N(ナ))), is a Japanese Song Voice developed by Kizuna AI Inc. and released for CeVIO AI and Voisona.

Her voice is provided by the virtual YouTuber, Kizuna AI.

Concept

Kizuna is modelled after her voice provider and character basis Kizuna AI. Kizuna AI is a virtual talent "AI" who started online activities in December 2016. As the world's first proclaimed Virtual YouTuber, she specializes in YouTube-centric content with the goal of connecting with her viewers. Her content has included but is not limited to gaming, music, livestreaming as well as live performances. Kizuna serves as a hub to connect fans and music creators, to keep supporting Kizuna AI as she goes into an indefinite hiatus.

Appearance

Kizuna's design was taken from a cover of DÉ DÉ MOUSE and Kizuna AI's album "Here For You", thus being very similar to Kizuna AI's but with more vivid pink colors.

Kizuna's character design was confirmed to be illustrated by the official Kizuna AI artist, Morikura En with concept artwork illustrated by KEIGO INOUE.

Etymology

Kizuna's name is written as "キズナ" or also written as "#KZN". This is derived from Kizuna AI's name ("キズナアイ" or "絆(キズナ)愛(アイ)"), translating to "Bonded Love". Kizuna was named officially by Kizuna AI.

History

On February 25, 2022 during an official Kizuna AI, A.I. Channel livestream, Kizuna AI announced a new collaboration with CeVIO Project to develop a library for CeVIO AI.

The next day, Kizuna was featured next to her VTuber counterpart in the "hello, world 2022" live concert, and her voice was demonstrated next to Kizuna AI's voice. The official name of the voicebank was revealed to be "Kizuna", also written "#KZN", a song voicebank for CeVIO AI.
