Kiana Kaslana (琪亞娜·卡斯蘭娜) is a character created by miHoYo Co. and stars as the main protagonist in all of their early mobile games prior to the creation of Genshin Impact. She later became a virtual singer for the then Sharpkey, now DeepVocal, engine under the name Kiana (琪亚娜, Qíyànà) in December 2016.
History[]
Kiana was a previously established character before her introduction to DeepVocal, as she was a commission by her company, miHoYo Co. Her first appearance was as the main protagonist in the company's first mobile game FlyMe2theMoon. Alternate universe versions of her character then went on to become the main protagonist of Zombiegal Kawaii, which was later rebranded as Houkai Gakuen 2, also known as Guns Girl Z in the west, as well as the later alternate universe sequel Honkai Impact 3rd.
On December 7, 2016, Kiana was released for the Sharpkey engine through a cover. She may receive updates in the future, though it is unlikely.
Since the debut of DeepVocal on June 7th, 2019, she has, in name, become a DeepVocal, and is compatible with that engine.
Concept[]
According to her profile in Guns Girl Z, "Kiana Kaslana is the descendant of the Kaslana Clan, she is also the descendant of the Destined one. She is a sorceress who knows a great deal about the Apocalypse. She is not affected by the Source Energy due to the clan's immunity."
Etymology[]
"琪亚娜" (Qíyànà) (romanized as Kiana) has several different meanings given by miHoYo, varying depending on game, though all meanings have some relation to the moon.[citation needed]
Appearance[]
Her DeepVocal/Sharpkey design is drastically different from her previous designs, with the only traits kept being her eye color as well as her hair and physical features. She sports a short purple dress with sound-wave lining, a matching purple choker with a hot pink flower attached, white flared transparent gloves, stockings that are hot pink and digitally fade in from her skin, and matching hot pink heels.
The design was later incorporated into the actual Honkai Impact 3rd mobile game itself, as the Honkai World Diva outfit.

Her personality has been stated as "She is very brave and determined and always care for her friends. A pervert."
