Likea (来果) is a vocal synthesizer character created by the group SPROCAT. She was initially created for the UTAU vocal synthesis software and has since received a DeepVocal library in June 2021. She was later released as a Japanese A.I.VOICE text-to-speech library through the A.I. VOICE Junior program in collaboration with AI, Inc. in October 2022. In May 2022, Likea began activity as a PR representative for Shin-Ookubo Shopping Center.
Her voice is provided by Yuzuha (柚子花, Yuzuha), a Japanese Virtual YouTuber and musician.
Concept[]
Likea is a girl who was born from the human world with the goal of helping people express their "likes" with the motto: 「キミと好きを見つけたいにゃ！」 "I want to find "likes" with you!".[1]
Personality[]
Likea is described as pure and does not know much about human culture, so everything that she sees is fresh. She thinks of herself as a cat and believes that cats have a "nya" at the end, but no one knows if she really is a cat. It makes her happy to be able to express peoples "likes" through singing and speaking.

History[]
Likea was first released as an UTAU based on the voice of the virtual idol Yuzuha on February 22, 2021. A DeepVocal voicebank was later released for her on June 2, 2021.
SPROCAT announced a new crowdfunding campaign on November 30, 2021 with plans to develop an A.I.VOICE Junior speaking library for Likea.[3] The crowdfund was hosted through GREEN FUNDING and began December 17 2021, and would run through January 16, 2022 collecting a total of ¥4,557,022 yen, reaching over 119% of the initial ¥3,800,000 yen goal.
Likea's crowdfund reached the production goal on January 16, 2022 and the A.I.VOICE Junior library was decided.[4]
On May 22, 2022[5], Likea announced via Twitter that she was now a "PR Angel" for Shin-Ookubo Shopping Center. Shin-Ookubo is a multiethnic city which aims to provide a home for immigrants and foreign students who may feel uncomfortable living abroad. They are most well-known for their Korean population, but welcome people of all ethnicities and cultures[6]. Their motto is "天使がすむまち", "the town where angels live".

A 3D MikuMikuDance model was created for Likea by 3D modeler Tsumidango and was released for free download on the official Likea NICONI SOLID account on December 25, 2021.[7]
Likea was a featured performer alongside Yuzuha at the 柚子花主催LIVE -Planet Station- STAGE.3 online, live virtual concert.[8]
