AITalk (エーアイトーク) is a speech synthesis program created by AI, Inc.. It has been used as the base for VOICEROID, galaco Talk, Otomachi Una Talk Ex, Gynoid Talk, A.I.VOICE and A.I.VOICE2.
Currently, AITalk has five generations:
- AITalk[3] - used in VOICEROID, early VOICEROID+ libraries, and galaco Talk (specifically the AITalk (R) Custom Voice (R) version.)[4].
- AITalk II[5] - used in Kantan! AITalkⅡ Plus and VOICEROID+ Tohoku Zunko.
- AITalk®3[6][7] - used in Kantan! AITalk3, VOICEROID+ Kotonoha Akane & Aoi, VOICEROID+ EX, and Otomachi Una Talk Ex.
- AITalk4[8] - used in VOICEROID2 and Gynoid Talk.
- AITalk5[9][10][11] - used in A.I.VOICE.
- AITalk6[12] - used in A.I.VOICE2.

AICOCONO (アイココノ) was established by AI, Inc. as an office for virtual announcers with voices from AITalk, with the aim of increasing public awareness of speech synthesis technology by combining the technology, which is still not well known among the public, with a friendly character.[15]
