VOICEROID2 is the successor to the VOICEROID software. It was initially released in June 2017 with updated versions of Yuzuki Yukari and Kotonoha Akane & Aoi.

History[]

In late December 2020, Bumpy, a developer from VOCALOMAKETS revealed that production on VOICEROID was quietly ceased without giving a proper announcement.[1][2] According to Amanokei, a developer for Synthesizer V, VOICEROID was scrapped due to feud between AH-Software and AI Inc., as well as another reason that he was not at liberty to talk about due to non-disclosure agreements.[3]

  • Support for multiple vocalists and the ability to switch between them [4]
  • The ability to customize vocalists and save the voice configurations and custom presets
  • Support of emotional parameters for various vocals, usually between "happiness," "sadness," and "anger," as well as the default (currently only supported for Yukari, Akane and Aoi, Itako, and Yuzuru).

  • Display: XGA 1024 × 768
  • Other: Sound card compatible with DirectX 9.0c or later, internet connection (activation)
    • Operates in 32 bit mode on 64 bit OS
    • Not guaranteed to work in non-Japanese locale
    • Excludes Virtual PC and VMware
